Ana Rocha works with words and dance. During the writing of this book, she divided her time between Berlin, Germany and Porto, Portugal.
Her relationship with Two Plum Press began on a winter afternoon in Berlin a few years ago, as I was staring at her bookshelf and realizing we shared some taste in small books.
When I started the press, I reached out to her, saying something like "Ana, I know you have something that could be a book– let me read it."
Clouds 'n Matches ruminates. Reading it, one thinks about more than the story on the page.

Still nature,
As it is
And made up to be.
Things do come across in
His life that one cannot
Explain, and explanatory existence,
Thinking shoes,
Don’t get us anywhere,
But here we came and
It seems all is going
Along with fire.
